Omnixus will be presenting a Tourism Technology showcase at Global Entrepolis @ Singapore 2007 event (http://www.globalentrepolis.com/2007/exhibition_main.htm) on the 13th - 15th November 2007, at Booth L31, Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhbition Centre , Halls 402 – 404, Level 4 (http://www.suntecsingapore.com/index.pl).

We will be featuring

• LiveWindow , an interactive information display system.
• Woowe , a location-based interactive info guide that works on mobile phones.

LiveWindow is an on-demand information delivery medium that allows users to choose the information they want to view on screen. Users can also download selected video clips, wallpapers and music files to their mobile phones using Bluetooth. LiveWindow is an ideal solution for tourism promotion centers and offices.   

Woowe serves to enhance tourist experience by allowing users to browse for information that is specific to their current location, such as nearest attractions, nearby events and current promotions. Woowe is also able to personalized the information delivered according to the user’s language and interests.

Imagine a foreign tourist who has just arrived at the airport. Upon stepping into the terminal, he immediately receives a warm welcome message that greets him by name and in his spoken language.

To help him plan his stay, the virtual assistance allows him to choose from “Adventure Theme Travel”, “Romance Theme Travel”, “Family Theme Travel” or “Singles Theme Travel”. Depending on his choice and period of stay, he is presented with a tour itinerary that suggests a list of places to visit and activities that he can participate in.

When he reaches the entrance of an attraction, he is greeted with a welcome message and is informed of the attraction’s current highlights and activities. He is also pampered with special discount coupons that can be used at nearby restaurants and cafes.

With auto-tracking of the places that he has visited, he can easily check the itinerary for his next destination.

All the above services are accessed directly from his/her mobile phone and no software installation is required.
